Welcome to the Series Minx Pages. This site, as the name implies, is dedicated to the Hillman Minx Series 1 - 6, manufactured by the now defunct British automobile company, Rootes Motors Ltd. from 1956 - 1967.
This site was created in part due to the passing of Doug Bragg. Doug created and maintained the pre-eminent website on the Series Minx, the "What's A Hillman" site. From its inception in 1998 until Doug's death in 2007 his site was an excellent source of information on all things related to these great cars. There were some tentative plans made to include some of Doug's articles and site features on this and another site as we did not want to see them lost. Someone has now stepped forward and volunteered to keep Doug's site operating in its original form which is a great memorial to Doug and a great service to Hillman owners everywhere. You'll find a link to the site on the links page.
As this is my first attempt at designing and running a website I'm sure there will be many bugs to work out and things may change and evolve as I go along. I welcome any input or comments.
